On Sunday 9th October, ARRCC joined with the Hindu Council, the UWS Multi-faith Chaplaincy and the Faith and Ecology Network to host a multi-faith forum on Environmental Ethics. The afternoon was a great success!
Program
The afternoon began with a welcome by Prof Nihal Agar, Chair of the Hindu Council, before a distinguished panel of six speakers, representing each of the main religious faiths, addressed attendees, including:

Following the speakers, and the vote of thanks by Chair of ARRCC, Thea Omerod, attendees broke for lunch and then attended one of three participatory workshops on:
- Sustainable use of natural resources by reducing consumption and wastage (Ms Trish Madigan)
- Sustaining biodiversity by preserving plants and animals; (Ms Anne Lanyon)
- Living a simple, happy and peaceful life-style free from greed, hatred and fear (Ms Shehara Vishwanathan).
