ARRCC encourages it's supporters to take up the challenge to go meat-free for a week, as part of International Vegetarian Week.
This week, October 1st to 7th is National Vegetarian Week, organised by Animals Australia. The aim of the week is to "Celebrate a compassionate choice for a kinder world". As part of International Vegetarian Week, people are asked to take up the challenge and Pledge to go Veg for week. ARRCC supports the aims of International Vegetarian Week and encourages its members and supporters to go meat-free this week - whether its nominating one Meat Free Day, or going the whole week Meat Free!
ARRCC has lots of resources to help make a meat-free day or week fun, including our unique Meat-Free recipe booklet from our Meat-Free Cooking Workshop. We also have links to lots of resources on Vegetarian recipes and nutritional information.
