Are you moved by your faith to take action on climate change?  Are you passionate about cycling and/or other forms of sustainable transport?  Do you want to see religious communities grasp the challenge and have fun in the process? If so, we would like to ask you to help us to inspire religious communities to get involved in 2011.

We need your help

ARRCC is an organisation of volunteers.  To help us to reach more religious communities and encourage them to get involved in Ride to Worship Week, we are looking for enthusiastic people to help to spread the word.

We are asking supporters to recruit one religious community to participate in Ride to Worship Week.  This could be your own place of worship, religious centre, or faith-based group, or one that you have some connection with.

How to spread the word

If you would like to help build participation in Ride to Worship Week champion, we ask you to do the following:

2. ARRCC will then send you some electronic and hard copy resources.
3. Please contact at least one religious group and encourage them to participate in Ride to Worship Week. You could speak with a leader, arrange to present at a service or to a small group of people from the religious community. 
4. Let Miriam know how you go, and contact her if you have any questions or need any help.

ARRCC will provide you with the following resource kit to help you to approach religious communities:

• Ride to Worship Week brochures (electronic copy, hard copies available on request)
• Ride to Worship Week promo clip (3.5 minutes long youtube clip, DVD copy available on request)
• Ride to Worship Week template powerpoint presentation (electronic copy)
• Responses to frequently asked questions that you might be asked by religious communities who are interested in participating in Ride to Worship Week
