ARRCC is a predominantly volunteer-based organisation. We appreciate the time that our members and supporters give to ARRCC and welcome everyone who wishes to help out with our work.
ARRCC is currently looking for volunteers to help with the following responsibilities. If you are interested in the below, or in helping out in anyway, please contact us!
Volunteer on our campaigns
We have a number of working groups who develop and promote our campaigns for:
- Ride to Worship
- Meat Free Day
- Faith Community Footprints
- Policy and Advocacy

Membership secretary
Assistance with processing membership applications and membership renewals, and with maintaining the membership database.
Includes tasks such as:
- Revieweing membership forms
- Updating excel spreadsheets
- Emailing new members
Assistant web editor
Help keep the ARRCC website current by uploading news items and events.
Includes tasks such as:
- Writing news articles
- Uploading items into the Joomla Content Management System (training provided!)
- Sourcing information on upcoming events related to faith and climate change
- Emailing new members
Fundraising support
Work with the Internal Development team to support the ongoing work of ARRCC by identifying and following up opportunities for fundraising.
Includes tasks such as:
- Monitoring Fundraising/Grants newsletters
- Sourcing information on upcoming grants
- Drafting applications and proposals for fundraising
- Contacting companies for sponsorship of events and campaigns
