ARRCC Annual General Meeting

The ARRCC AGM is intended primarily for members, however others are welcome in an observer capacity.

Sydney members will be invited to Pitt Street Uniting Church to start a light meal at 6 pm. There are "hubs" planned in other cities and, in each city, we hope people attending can share a meal together and follow the formalities. If all goes to plan, the meal will be beforehand in the Eastern States and Adelaide, and afterwards in Perth.

The guest speaker is Maina Talia, a Theology PhD candidate from Tuvalu. He is co-chair of the Global Forum of Indigenous Peoples on Climate Change, and has represented the views of Pacific peoples at UN climate negotiations. His topic is:

"The experience of Pacific peoples, and whether their voices being heard at UN climate negotiations."

More details to follow.
