A MULTI-FAITH NETWORK
COMMITTED TO ACTION
ON CLIMATE CHANGE

Flagship events

In cities across Australia there will be giant banners and billboards going up outside major high-profile places of worship calling on September 17 for much stronger action on the climate. The banners will have messages calling for an end to new coal and gas projects as well as massive investment in good jobs in clean energy.

This will be part of the Faiths 4 Climate Justice Week of Action from September 14 to 24 where people of faith will be joining with others all over the world calling for an urgent and fair shift from fossil fuels to clean energy.

We need you to come to their launch!

Come to the event near you!

These events are the main opportunity for media coverage for our Week of Action.

Join us to celebrate (and in some cases bless) these important messages for our elected representatives (especially the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition). All of these huge signs will be made public and promoted to the media on the morning of Tuesday September 17.

People of all faiths will be gathering to celebrate these signs. The media will be invited. There will be faith leaders from a number of traditions available to speak to journalists about the signs and the week of action generally.

Bring people from your faith community, friends and family.
