Can you believe it’s now been ten years since Adani first purchased coal licences in the Galilee Basin? Adani planned to ship their first coal in 2014. But thanks to you, not a lump of coal has yet left the Galilee Basin.

The fate of the Carmichael mega-coal mine is on a knife’s edge. Coal prices are tumbling and our success has pushed 70 major companies to walk away from the project, forcing Adani to build their mine in the slowest, riskiest, and most expensive way possible.
