‘Turning the Ship’ is a relatable, professionally produced, 30-minute film based on the experiences of everyday people at the Rising Tide Peoples’ Blockade in 2024. It will be an excellent window into what these mobilisations are about. 

Anne Hodgson from Rising Tide will also give a brief introduction to the human values and strategic thinking that underpin this community’s campaign efforts, followed by Q & A.

Anne had a rewarding career as a Senior Manager in Disability for over 20 years then went into eco Tourism and Education. In 2022, with the realization that the climate was in crisis, Anne joined the team at Rising Tide as a full time volunteer. She coordinates Site & Logistics for the Blockade and is on the National Steering Team.  

The evening will be the first of a number of online ARRCC meetings for those who are interested in attending this year’s Blockade, planned for between 27 Nov and 2 Dec. All are welcome!
