ARRCC Move Beyond Coal briefing
Sydney ARRCC Move Beyond Coal groups are holding in-person briefings with Tipping Point staff on how each group would like to respond to NAB this year. NAB executives are considering whether or not they will continue to finance Whitehaven Coal over the next six months, so it’s time to amp up the pressure! These Move Beyond Coal briefings will be a chance to:
- hear the bigger picture vision and strategy to Move Australia Beyond Coal
- Get an up-date on what is happening on Gomeroi country
- Talk about what ARRCC groups in Sydney might do during the 10 Days of Action March 27-April 5
- Decide on some tactics that we could use to build pressure on NAB, and hopefully do some detailed planning. Be rest assured you won’t be asked to go out of your comfort zone.
- If time allows, some skills development in areas the group chooses, eg, social media, how to talk with the public or NAB staff about our concerns.
If you live near these locations, you're welcome to join us at these in-person meetings.
