Canberra catch-up
You have hopefully picked up by now, that ARRCC is planning our first national conference! It will be held jointly by ARRCC and the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture (ACC&C) in Canberra on Friday – Sunday, November 8th – 10th. It will be an occasion for ARRCC supporters who come from far and wide, to actually meet each other, and to build skills and confidence to organise in their own local areas.
There is an organising committee, but we need more help from other ARRCC supporters who are based in Canberra. If you’d like to help in some small way to make the conference a success, please come along to an informal meeting.
This will also be a good opportunity to talk over where everyone is up to, in terms of the energy needed to stay on course to create a safe climate after the election. It’s a difficult time for all who had hopes for a fairer, safer future.
Time: Sunday afternoon, June 16 at 2 - 4 pm.
Place: Woolman Room, Quaker meeting house, 17 Bent St, Turner
If you can make it, please RSVP to [email protected].
