Connection today's Aboriginal voice with the prophets

This Sunday at Sophia's Spring. Third Sunday of the month afternoon series. The Uluru Statement from the Heart says, in part, ‘We call for a First Nations Voice, enshrined in the Constitution’. The statement also calls for ‘truth-telling about our history’ as part of a process of makarrata or agreement-making following a period of struggle.

Garry Deverell, a Trawloolway man and Anglican priest, will help us to make connections between the voices of contemporary Indigenous people and those of the prophets who cried out for justice as part of the Jewish and Christian traditions.
