Conversation with John Seed
Long-term environmental activist and pivotal figure in the Deep Ecology movement, John Seed, is having a conversation with ARRCC Community Organiser and ordained Buddhist, Tejopala Rawls. It will be a public conversation, the theme of which will be the relationship between spirituality and ecology and the ecological shoots in all major religions, particularly Buddhism. We will explore the connections between 'inner' and 'outer' transformation, and some of the challenges that can come with being concerned with both.
John is very well known in some circles. He works with experiential processes that help us break through the illusion of separation and allow us to deepen our felt connection with the living Earth and nourish our ecological identity.
Tejopala will bring his perspective as an ordained Buddhist who organises and campaigns on the climate.
