Film viewing of 2040 & who's taking action
ARRCC along with the Peoples Climate Assembly has organised a free online event involving the screening of the inspiration movie 2040. Get inspired and become more involved in climate action. The event is called Optimism and Action: What does your 2040 look like? We hope you can join us.
When is it?
Sunday 28th June
Part 1: 7:00pm – 8:35pm – 2040 screening
Part 2: 8:45pm – 9:30pm – Online discussion + meet & greet
What is it about?
The movie 2040 explores what the future could look like by the year 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us today to improve our planet and shifted them rapidly into the mainstream.
Regenerative farming, solar micro-grids, aquaculture, transport and education are just some of the areas the film explores that can transform the way we live for the better.
This event is about Optimism:
Be inspired by 2040’s vision of a clean and prosperous future that is possible, a future we, along with other PCA members are fighting for.
It is also about Action:
Join us after the movie for a discussion with representatives of ARRCC, Stop Adani, Parents for Climate Action, Student Strikers and Tipping Point about what each of these organisations are doing. Consider how you might become more active and stand up for a better future.
