We often hear about the power of story in motivating people to get involved in climate action. ‘Saving Tuvalu’ will be a 90-minute documentary following the proud Pacific nation of Tuvalu as they respond to the challenges of climate change and rising sea levels through innovative and inspiring initiatives, including the creation of the world’s first digital record of the nation’s stories, traditions, culture and community life. The plan is for the film to be finished in 2027 and to screen it at the international film festival in 2028.
It is also expected that the film will be shown at international events such as COP climate conferences, helping amplify Tuvalu’s voice on the global stage.
Please come along if you can and show solidarity with our friends who call Tuvalu home.
