Living the Change Leadership webinars

Community support is a major factor in making climate-friendly lifestyle changes possible, so ARRCC will offer more webinars and in-person opportunities. We'd love some help with people presenting one-off workshops, or hosting home-based suppers around the theme of taking steps to lower our carbon impact.

So these webinars will offer the background and skills needed for interested people to present a workshop or host a home-based supper, within their own communities or for existing Interfaith groups.

Co-presenters of the three sessions will be Mark Delaney, co-author of Low Carbon and Loving It, and Thea Ormerod, grandmother, social worker and ARRCC President.

They will be held over Zoom on three consecutive Wednesday evenings, starting May 1 at 7-8.30 pm (EDT). These would cover:

May 1 - participants’ own stories; overall strategy, structure of LtC campaign in 2019, learnings from 2018

May 8 – motivating people of faith, levels of engagement, edging towards higher impact changes, doing this as part of a community

May 15 – essentials for presenting a workshop or hosting a supper.

These workshops are being presented free of charge, but RSVP is essential (see RSVP facility on the right). We will send interested participants the link to the Zoom sessions, each of which will be recorded.
