A MULTI-FAITH NETWORK
COMMITTED TO ACTION
ON CLIMATE CHANGE

Multi-Faith Climate Care Forum

As we hear of extreme weather events around the world and shrinking icecap across Antarctica, the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (WA Chapter)  invites interested people to a Multi-Faith Forum on Climate Change.

On Saturday 9th September 2023 this free event will be held at the Hillview Intercultural Community Centre, Bentley, WA between 1.30-5.30 pm.

The plan includes times of prayer, music, speakers and an afternoon tea.  People will each briefly share from the Brahma Kumaris, Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Uniting Church, Catholic, Anglican, Deep Ecology, and Baha’i traditions - prompting discussions. One of the speakers will be Peter Newman, Professor of Sustainability at Curtin University.

Participants will leave the forum with a deeper commitment to work towards personal change and change within their own communities, as well as wider societal change for better stewardship of the earth and care for all living things.

From 1 August people are encouraged to register their interest at
