Nature Laws Forum - Randwick
You have the opportunity to show your local MP that you urgently want nature laws that actually protect nature.
Right now, the Australian government is reforming our broken nature law.
Currently, their proposals are riddled with loopholes and won’t actually stop deforestation and extinctions. The government has an urgent, once-in-a-generation opportunity to step up and pass nature laws that work.
That means:
- Stopping deforestation
- Ending the extinction crisis; and
- A fair say for communities, not just corporations.
On Wednesday 19 June, you will hear from The Wilderness Society’s NSW Campaign Manager, Victoria Jack, ACF’s National Biodiversity Policy Adviser Brendan Sydes, and federal Members of Parliament (MPs) Matt Thistlethwaite (Kingsford-Smith) and Allegra Spender (Wentworth).
Will you join us to literally show the MPs the faces of the people who want strong nature laws?
This event is a collaboration between The Wilderness Society and ACF. Together we strive for stronger protections for our living world that makes all life possible.
