Online F4CJ working bee
What: Faiths 4 Climate Justice Social Media Working Bee
When: Monday, 18th October, anytime between 8.30 am – 1 pm AEDT, starting 8 am Adelaide, 7.30 am Brisbane, 5.30 am Perth
Not everyone can be present at in-person actions but we can still challenge the federal government online. If you know how to use Facebook and Twitter, join our social media working bee on Monday morning and help amplify these on the ground actions.
On the 18th, we have 13 ARRCC vigils demanding climate justice at Australian halls of power.
We want to see Australia take much stronger 2030 emissions reduction targets to COP26.
We want to see an orderly transition away from coal and gas.
We want a post-COVID recovery based on clean, jobs-rich industries.
We want Australia should play fair and re-start contributions to the UN Green Climate Fund.
How an online working bee works: Fahimah will be on Zoom from 8.30 - 1pm AEDT and you can drop in whenever you have the time, and stay for as long as you like. We will be posting about the vigils as they happen, have a yarn, and celebrate our movement while we do it. Sounds like fun? Let's do it!
