Post-Referendum Prayer, Meditation & Sharing
Many Indigenous and non-Indigenous supporters of the ' Yes' vote are feeling quite dispirited now. ARRCC is offering a spiritual space to anyone who feels the need to reflect on the Voice Referendum result and what it means to us as people of faith.
Nathan Tyson, an Aboriginal man of Anaiwon/Gomeroi descent who works for the Uniting Church, has kindly agreed to lead with his reflection. This will be followed by prayer and meditation in a range of traditions and sharing about how we are feeling in small, supportive groups.
So far, other contributors will be:
Gawaine Powell Davies, President of the Federation of Australian Buddhist Councils
Fahimah Badrulhisham, ARRCC Community Organiser and co-Founder of the Muslim Collective
