Join us in the beautiful bush and seaside setting of Bundeena for a day of collaborative exploration, silence, and reflection.

This retreat day provides the opportunity to name and explore personal and communal challenges that we face as a whole earth community. Many people agree that change is needed to address the tensions in our unequal world with our unsustainable lifestyles.  This is not the first time we have asked these questions and participants will bring a wide array of experiences that tell of choices made and positive actions embraced.

Eremos retreat team members will support a collaborative enquiry in which each person may share their concerns, hopes, values, and actions taken for change. This shared exploration enables us to recognise wisdom and to discern next steps in our ongoing work of fruitful action, increased understanding, and personal transformation. Time for personal reflection and quiet will sustain this exploration.

It is the nature of yeast to start a reaction that brings nourishment and sustenance. Can we name the yeast that we bring, our capacity to enable change? Are we already intentionally choosing to become the leaven that holds the promise of a rising for all of which Jesus spoke? Is there something that we need in order for our yeast to have its intended effect?
