ARRCC Sydney public meeting
ARRCC supporters in the Sydney area are invited to a gathering at Pitt Street Uniting Church and hear about our latest strategies and tactics to stop new coal and gas approvals. You’ll also hear our guest speaker, Pacific Climate Warrior and Regional Director of 350.org in the Pacific, Joseph Sikulu, who will speak with first-hand experience about the fight of Pacific peoples to protect their homelands.
The Minister for the Environment, Tanya Plibersek is responsible for the approvals of coal and gas projects so if you live or work in the electorate of Sydney we would really love to connect with you. We're hoping that some Sydney constituents will form a delegation to meet with her. If you are not in the Sydney electorate, we'll be offering ways that you can help stop coal and gas expansion with other people of faith in your own electorate.
Thursday 7 September, 6 to 8 pm
Pitt Street Uniting Church
