Want to help Stop Adani, but tired of working alone? Come along to our "Zoom party" and add your voice to those urging the Korea Investment and Securities and the Industrial Bank of Korea to walk way from Adani.

Next week a Stop the Money Week of Action has been called. Adani urgently needs to borrow more money to pay off debt that is due on their Abbot Point coal port. The port is essential to the disastrous Adani Carmichael Coal and Rail Project because it’s how they are shipping coal for their coal plant in India. With recent victories persuading Samsung and Hanwha to rule our further finance for Adani, the financial institutions of interest now are Korea Investment and Securities, with the loan being arranged by the State-owned Industrial Bank of Korea. There is a high risk these two other companies will be approached by Adani for further finance or support.

ARRCC is supporting people of faith to do our bit. We will brief you and encourage you to write e-mails.

KIS & IBK are concerned about their reputation and so where possible, a visible message of protest ie, on their social media would be even better. For those who want to give it a go, we'll support you in posting a message to them on Facebook along with the appropriate tagging.

We can't show up in protests like we once did, but we can still accompany each other in this work!
