Profiting from death and destruction is not a legitimate business..... Perth based company MRC is having the annual shareholders meeting. This company has been dragged into the spot light over their controversial proposed titanium mine on the Wild Coast of South Africa. The community have been fighting against the proposed Xolobeni mine for over 10 years. This fight has escalated over the last year with increased violence and intimidation against the community and reached a catalyst on the 22nd March 2016 with the assasination of Sikhosiphi 'Bazooka' Radebe from the Amadiba Crisis Committee. People around the world have turned out to protest at Australian embassies. This is our chance to hold Perth based company to account for their role in either facilitating or being complicit and silent on conflict and violence in the area. Please join us in solidarity with the Amadiba community at the MRC annual general meeting.
