Brisbane skills workshop 2016 Oct
Community organising skills workshop
How do you handle those awkward conversations about climate change? How do you effectively communicate the threats without eliciting a defensive reaction? How can you inspire people about the solutions? How can you organise your community for action?
The focus of this workshop is twofold, following requests after last year’s ARRCC workshop in Brisbane. We invite you to further develop your skills in (1) communicating the message, and (2) deepening your community’s engagement, confidence and energy in the challenges climate change presents.
BONUS: Connect with other people of faith with a similar deep desire for a safer, fairer climate future!
When: Saturday, 1 October, 10 am – 4.30 pm
Where: Centre for Interfaith & Cultural Dialogue, Griffith University, 170 Kessels Rd, Nathan 4111.
