Climate, Faith & Rights of Future Generations
Climate protection, faith and the rights of future generations: Opportunities from the pending climate case in the International Court of Justice.
This online event is in preparation for the upcoming decision of the court and its implementation. The event is also in follow-up to Protecting Our Common Climate System: Earth Governance for a Sustainable Future, a faith and values-based statement we presented to COP 29, which highlights the connections between faith-based principles, climate protection and international law, and gives support to the pending International Court of Justice (ICJ) case on climate change.
