Come along and be inspired to challenge ineffective governments, powerful extractive industries and financial institutions to take the steps necessary for a more just and compassionate world. During the week of 2-9 October - less than a month before leaders of the world’s 20 largest economies gather at the G20 summit in Indonesia and representatives of every country gather in Egypt for the UN’s COP27 conference - religious groups will rise.

We will rise up from our pews, our meditation cushions, our prayer rugs, and our temple halls. We will leverage the moral authority of people of faith to influence political and financial institutions through media coverage, cultural pressure, and digital amplification. We will show political and financial leaders that there is widespread grassroots religious support for an ambitious set of climate demands. We will also show a growing resolve among grassroots people of faith willing to take greater personal responsibility and risk in support of climate action.

We will go peacefully, prayerfully and passionately to centres of economic and political power and make our requests for change.
