Interfaith Prayer Vigil for Biodiversity
The Faith Ecology Network (FEN) http://www.faithecology.net.au/ is holding an
Interfaith Prayer Vigil
TOWN HALL SQUARE, GEORGE ST SYDNEY
On Monday 22nd May, 4.30 – 6pm
On the International Day for Biological Diversity, people of all faiths or none are invited to gather
at this peaceful event to reflect on damage to Earth's systems and the extinction of species.
The vigil will include silence, prayer, meditation, chanting and singing, embracing messages of respect, thanksgiving, joy, lament,
help, courage, forgiveness and healing by people from diverse faiths.
It is a public witness that we of different faiths are concerned, care about and act to preserve Earth’s Biodiversity wherever we can.
We invite your members and supporters to be present and also to invite their friends and families.
