ON CLIMATE CHANGE

Kiama planning and skills workshop

CARING FOR OUR COMMON HOME - CREATION

Within our local networks, people from various faith traditions are keen to start some local faith-based action on climate change.

You are warmly invited to a planning session and workshop,

facilitated by social worker and activist,

Thea Ormerod, President of the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change.

WHEN:  SATURDAY, 3rd SEPTEMBER

WHERE: Meeting Room, SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiama

TIME:     10.30 - 3 pm including light lunch

The goals of the session are to become clearer on a common vision,

on a deeper understanding of how to be effective agents of social change,

and perhaps some initial achievable plans.

In the spirit of unity, we would welcome any interested people to explore this issue with us,

whether or not you have a particular religious connection.

Gabrielle

on behalf of the Planning Team and Parish Social Justice Group.
