Strategy meeting for Melbourne supporters

GreenFaith/ARRCC has a busy, exciting and challenging year ahead for 2017, and we need your help to plan it for the planet!

On Sunday 26th February, 7-9.30pm at Borderlands, 2 Minona St Hawthorn

we will be holding a Strategy Meeting to explain ARRCC's plans for the coming year and discuss how we can support you and your faith community to take meaningful action toward climate justice.

We will discuss:

* The campaign to prevent the Galilee Basin Carmichael coal mine, and a Melbourne-based training in Non-Violent Direct Action

* Training people to present to their faith community and inter-faith networks about the connection between their faith and the environment, and ARRCC's first major conference in Canberra on September 8th-10th

* What kinds of meetings/talks/activities/action you're interested in - How to increase our size, activities and effectiveness

This will also be a chance to meet our new community organiser, Angela Merriam. Angela has a background with the Lock the Gate campaign in Victoria and other groups and is passionate about the connection between faith and the environment.
