ARRCC members and friends are warmly invited to join our Annual General Meeting for the year which ended 31 Dec, 2016. This is a chance to get together in person and be encouraged by ARRCC’s many achievements during 2016.
The AGM will be take place in Sydney, with groups of ARRCC members potentially joining via Zoom from Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Hobart.
When: Thurs 11th May 7pm AEST (6.30pm Adelaide)
- 6 pm – 7 pm AEST: Meat-free pot-luck meal in Sydney and potentially in Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra and Hobart.
- 7 pm – 7.30pm: This year’s speaker is Rabbi Jeffrey Kamins, Rabbi at Emanuel Synagogue, Bondi, and member of the Rabbinical Assembly, the association of Conservative rabbis. He is speaking on “To protect and work with the earth” - a rabbinic approach to environmental protection with regard to mining in the Galilee Basin, with Thea Ormerod assisting with Q & A
- 7.30pm – 8.30pm: AGM proper
