ON CLIMATE CHANGE

Hunter and Newcastle ARRCC

Dr Di Rayson and some ARRCC supporters in the Newcastle and Hunter Region are keen to start a local ARRCC chapter. Here's Di's invitation to people in the Newcastle and Hunter region:

I'm inviting you to a meeting to look at establishing a local chapter of ARRCC. We'll meet together, share some soup, and see whether there is value in us organising ourselves as a unified voice representing people of faith concerned about climate change. Thea Ormerod, the national chair of ARRCC will join us and help answer any of our queries. Representatives of Rising Tide will also be there. They helped organise the vigil and dawn prayer service for World Environment Day, and are keen to support us.

Details of the meeting

6-8pm, Thursday 6 July 2023

St Lukes Wallsend Anglican Church Hall - 22-24 Metcalfe St, Wallsend

Please let me know you're coming and any special dietary considerations. Reply to this email or text me on 0428 315056.

Spread the word

Share this flyer with your networks and reach out and invite other people of faith who would love to be part of this movement. I'm especially keen that Indigenous people, Pasifika, and people from non-Christian religions and spiritualities are well-represented. If you can invite them, please do!

If it's easier, you could share the Facebook event.

If you'd like more info then just be in touch! Looking forward to meeting you and your friends.

Cheers for now

Di
