Newcastle in NSW, the world’s busiest coal port, is reinventing itself as a renewable energy powerhouse.
The Climate Council’s Cities Power Partnership (Australia's largest local government climate alliance) just released a new major video that features the local community and council embracing the switch to clean energy.

From local bowling club members rallying to sponsor solar panels for the club’s roof, to the City of Newcastle one of the first local governments in the entire country to be powered by 100% renewable energy, this community is hungry for clean economic and growth opportunities.
